Our AGADIR collection is particularly good at this:

  • Washable:For a clean home: all SOLTAKO carpets are machine washable at up to 40 degrees. Our customers prefer our short pile carpets because they are flat, light and stain resistant.
  • Double-sided and practical size (135/65): you get two carpets for one attractive price. We recommend a non-slip mat to go with it.
  • Vegan: The widely used polyacrylic fibre - also known as vegan wool - is extremely hard-wearing, light and weather resistant. It is felt-free and soft at the same time. Polyacrylic absorbs very little moisture and dries quickly. It is therefore perfect for the bathroom
  • Gift:Our product packaging is already made of recyclable paper. In doing so, we use elegant and high quality paper based storage boxes that are perfect for gifting.

Our mission

It all started with the feeling of fresh earth on his skin and the scent of olive wood in his nose. When Brahim (right) planted his first tree on the family's olive tree plantation at the age of 5, he had no idea that his path would later lead him to Germany, where he met his friend and current business partner Tobias (left) after finishing his studies.

Their joint journey to his home country resulted in a shared mission: Plastic-free kitchens.

Today they run SOLTAKO together and internationally from Geneva and Munich, offering a variety of sustainable products with a unique combination of high-quality design and the noble raw material of olive wood.

SOLTAKO FINEST OLIVE WOOD

is a sub-brand of SOLTAKO GENEVE. With a lot of know-how, attention to detail, and excellent craftsmanship, olive wood products are manufactured with premium material and elegant designs.

Each of our creations is individually handcrafted. We focus on creativity and high-quality wood. The wood used is carefully selected and used only from trees that no longer bear fruit.

All our products are made in Tunisia. With great attention to detail and quality, our family manufactory has been producing high-quality unique olive wood products for decades.

We bring the Mediterranean to your home

.

What makes our product unique?

Tunisia's olive trees are to a large extent many centuries old and are exclusively used for wood once they no longer ensure high-yield olive fruit harvests. Our extraction area, the SFAX region, benefits from its special location between the beautiful Mediterranean coast and the desert with its unique climate zone.

Perfect gift
